El Lechón

2015 · 1h 13m · Comedy

Skip it. A screwball comedy about a guy trying to refrigerate a pig sounds like it could be charming indie fun, but without any critical backing and an obscure Argentine production, this feels like a one-joke premise stretched too thin. Life's too short for experimental comedies that don't have any proof they actually land.

Plot

December 31, 2012. In the middle of the heat wave, a thirty-something man (Gastón Markotic) has to refrigerate the piglet that his father-in-law sends him for the end of the year. The refusal of a butcher to help him and the clumsiness of his friend Virgo (Manuel Sánchez Viamonte) result in a series of adventures through the city of La Plata.

Director: Conrado Taina
