Dual is a darkly clever premise that doesn't quite stick the landing—it's got enough twisted humor and sci-fi intrigue to entertain, but the uneven execution and middling scores mean it's more of a "when you've exhausted everything else" pick than a must-watch tonight.

Plot

A terminally ill woman opts for a cloning procedure to ease her loss on her friends and family. When she makes a miraculous recovery, her attempts to have her clone decommissioned fail and lead to a court-mandated duel to the death.
