Skip it unless you've already seen Night Watch—this sequel is a visually inventive Russian fantasy-action film, but it's convoluted, relies heavily on lore from the first film, and hasn't aged particularly well. Jump in only if you're a die-hard fan of Eastern European sci-fi or committed to the franchise.
