Skip it. 'Dance Flick' is a 2009 parody that swings for the fences but lands mostly in the dirt—it's got the thin plot of a straightforward dance movie wrapped in unfunny gags that haven't aged well. Unless you're specifically hunting for early-2000s comedy nostalgia, your time is better spent on literally any other dance film.

Plot

Street dancer Thomas Uncles is from the wrong side of the tracks, but his bond with the beautiful Megan White might help the duo realize their dreams as they enter in the mother of all dance battles.
