Skip this one tonight. 'Countdown' is a by-the-numbers supernatural thriller that mistakes a gimmicky premise (an app that predicts death) for actual originality, and it doesn't have the scares or smarts to back it up. Unless you're specifically hunting for forgettable streaming filler, your time is better spent elsewhere.

Plot

A young nurse downloads an app that tells her she only has three days to live. With time ticking away and a mysterious figure haunting her, she must find a way to save her life before time runs out.
