Unless you're a completist of '90s cheese or a Vanilla Ice historian, skip this one—it's a clumsy mashup of teen romance and witness protection thriller that satisfies neither impulse. The premise alone (motorcycle bad boy + honor student + organized crime subplot) screams confused screenplay, and this movie has spent three decades as a punchline for a reason.

Plot

Freewheeling, motorcycle-riding musician Johnny rolls into a small town with his band, and meets Kathy, an honor student who catches his eye. Meanwhile, Kathy's father, after being in the Witness Protection Program, is finally tracked down by two corrupt cops he escaped from years ago, who want the money he owes them.
