Consecration

2023 · 1h 31m · Horror, Thriller

Skip it. 'Consecration' is a generic haunted-convent thriller that trades on familiar horror tropes without the craft or originality to justify a watch—the plot screams predictable twist ending, and without critical backing or strong word-of-mouth, there's no reason to spend your evening on this when better supernatural thrillers are readily available.

Plot

After the alleged suicide of her priest brother, Grace travels to the remote Scottish convent where he fell to his death. Distrusting the Church's account, she uncovers murder, sacrilege and a disturbing truth about herself.

Director: Christopher Smith
