Skip it tonight unless you're specifically hunting for gritty, heavy drama about childhood trauma—this is a brutally bleak indie that demands emotional bandwidth, not a casual watch. Without critical validation or a major reputation to lean on, there's no compelling reason to subject yourself to such relentless heaviness when lighter options are available.
Plot
Leonel, a young boy from the Dominican Republic living in the countryside, receives a harsh punishment from his father after his best friend lies to save himself. The beating will forever break the friendship between Leonel and Carlos.
