C.H.U.D.

1984 · 1h 36m · Horror, Science Fiction

If you're a horror fan who loves campy 80s creature features and don't mind practical effects that haven't aged gracefully, C.H.U.D. is a goofy cult classic worth checking out for a fun night. But if you're after something genuinely scary or well-crafted, skip it and watch literally any other '80s horror flick that's aged better.

Plot

A rash of bizarre murders in New York City seems to point to a group of grotesquely deformed vagrants living in the sewers. A courageous policeman, a photojournalist and his girlfriend, and a nutty bum, who seems to know a lot about the creatures, band together to try and determine what the creatures are and how to stop them.

Director: Douglas Cheek
