Skip it. 'Cellular' is a forgettable 2004 thriller that relies on a gimmicky premise (a kidnapping thriller conducted entirely over a cell phone) without the craft or tension to justify it. Even with a solid cast, the plot feels contrived and the execution is pedestrian — there are far better thrillers to spend your evening on.

A young man receives an emergency phone call on his cell phone from an older woman. She claims to have been kidnapped – and the kidnappers have targeted her husband and child next.
