Caveat

2021 · 1h 28m · Horror, Mystery

IMDb 5.9 Metacritic 60 RT 82%

Skip it. While critics gave this atmospheric horror-mystery a respectable 82% on Rotten Tomatoes, audiences have spoken with a chilly 5.9 on IMDb—a red flag that suggests this cerebral indie doesn't land its payoff. Unless you're a horror completist who loves slow-burn isolation tales, you'll likely find yourself waiting for something that never quite clicks.

Plot

A lone drifter suffering from partial memory loss accepts a job to look after a psychologically troubled woman in an abandoned house on an isolated island.
