Skip it. While the premise touches on genuinely interesting themes—sex work, immigrant identity, family reconciliation—the tonal whiplash between comedy and intimate drama suggests this indie effort doesn't quite know what it wants to be, and without strong reviews to vouch for its execution, you're taking a real gamble on your evening.
