Watch this tonight if you're ready for something real—this is a documentary that treats mortality with humor and grace instead of heavy-handedness, and that's rare. It's the kind of intimate, life-affirming film that sticks with you precisely because it doesn't try too hard, so clear your evening and let it in.

Plot

An assignment to film a funeral speech turns into a meeting with a man who has chosen to forego cancer treatment in order to direct his own ending and deliver a final speech. During filming, a rare bond emerges between those documenting death and the one facing it. Bo & talet is an unpretentious, warm, and humorous portrait of the inevitable, and a tender reminder that life doesn’t always follow a script.
