Skip it. This 2006 Craig Brewer film is a well-intentioned but deeply uncomfortable exploration of trauma that relies on problematic dynamics (literally chaining a woman to a radiator) without earning its provocative premise. Unless you're specifically studying controversial indie drama, there are better ways to spend your evening.
Plot
A God-fearing bluesman takes to a wild young woman who, as a victim of childhood sexual abuse, is looking everywhere for love, but never quite finding it.
