Black Adam is Dwayne Johnson doing what he does best—flexing muscles and charisma in a CGI-heavy superhero origin story. If you're craving a popcorn-munching action flick with zero pretensions and solid spectacle, it's a decent Friday night option, but don't expect anything that'll stick with you past the credits.

Plot
