Skip it. Ang Lee's ambitious war drama fails to land—the experimental 120fps cinematography is distracting, the tonal shifts feel clunky, and the script doesn't justify its two-hour runtime. Life's too short for a well-meaning misfire when better war films exist.

Plot

19-year-old Billy Lynn is brought home for a victory tour after a harrowing Iraq battle. Through flashbacks the film shows what really happened to his squad – contrasting the realities of war with America's perceptions.
