Skip it. Despite a decent underdog sports premise, 'Battle of the Year' is a generic dance movie that squanders its tournament setup with clunky direction, forgettable characters, and a paint-by-numbers plot that even Josh Holloway can't salvage. You've seen this story done better a dozen times over.
