Skip it unless you've got kids under 8 glued to the screen—this direct-to-DVD Barbie flick is pure formula stuff with fairies and sparkles, but zero originality or charm that'll keep adults entertained. The fairy-rescue-Ken plot is recycled Barbie by-the-numbers, and without any critical buzz, you're better off streaming literally anything else tonight.

Plot

Barbie realises that fairies secretly surround everybody. She, along with the help of her friends, Taylor and Carrie, sets out to rescue Ken. He is taken to the secret fairy city, Gloss Angeles.
