2016 · 1h 28m · Science Fiction, Thriller

IMDb 6.3 RT 43%

ARQ has an intriguing premise—time loops plus corporate dystopia should be catnip for sci-fi fans—but the middling scores tell the real story: uneven execution and pacing issues bog down what could've been clever. Skip it unless you're a hardcore time-loop completist willing to forgive a rough ride.

Plot

Two old friends living in a dystopic future become trapped in a mysterious time loop — one that may have something to do with an ongoing battle between an omnipotent corporation and a ragtag band of rebels.
