Skip it. 'Arbitrage' is a competent but forgettable financial thriller that treads familiar ground without breaking new ground — Richard Gere's morally compromised magnate is well-worn territory, and the plot mechanics feel more like a procedural checklist than a gripping character study. Unless you're specifically hunting for white-collar crime drama comfort food, your night is better spent elsewhere.
