Skip it. Aquaman sequels have a track record of bloated, visually murky underwater spectacles that mistake spectacle for substance, and this revenge plot with a conveniently imprisoned brother feels like paint-by-numbers blockbuster formula. Unless you're a diehard Jason Momoa fan or need loud action on your TV tonight, there are better ways to spend your time.

Plot

Black Manta seeks revenge on Aquaman for his father's death. Wielding the Black Trident's power, he becomes a formidable foe. To defend Atlantis, Arthur (Aquaman) forges an alliance with his imprisoned brother. They must protect the kingdom.
