Año cero

Skip it tonight unless you're in the mood for heavy existential dread—this Spanish drama about a man's downward spiral after job loss is competent but bleak, and without critical acclaim or strong word-of-mouth to justify the emotional commitment, it's a tough sell for casual viewing.

"Año cero" is about the well-educated, well-to-do middle-class man, Miguel who loses his job. Now he finds himself without direction, credentials or long-term relationships.
