Skip it unless you're a doll-horror completist — Annabelle is a formulaic jump-scare factory that mistakes creepy aesthetics for actual scares. The premise is solid, but the execution is so by-the-numbers that you'll spend the night checking your phone instead of checking over your shoulder.

Plot

A couple begins to experience terrifying supernatural occurrences involving a vintage doll shortly after their home is invaded by satanic cultists.
