Skip it. 'An Almost Christmas Story' sounds like a generic holiday assembly line product—cute owl, lost girl, Christmas deadline, New York City backdrop. Without any critical validation or cultural buzz to distinguish it, this is the kind of forgettable animated film that exists mainly to fill streaming queues during December.

Plot

A young owl meets a lost little girl in New York City. Together, they try to get home for Christmas.
