Skip it tonight—this Tim Burton remake trades the book's clever wordplay for bloated CGI spectacle, and the 'chosen one' plot feels like a generic fantasy film wearing Alice's name as a costume. Unless you're a die-hard Burton completist or have kids who need visual distraction, your time is better spent elsewhere.
