Watch it. This is a classic psychological thriller with a genuinely compelling premise—a blackmailer's transformation becomes a meditation on identity and morality that still holds up. The premise alone (facial reconstruction as a plot device for character evolution) is smart enough to justify your evening, and the genre combo promises genuine tension beneath the melodrama.

Plot

A female blackmailer with a disfiguring facial scar meets a plastic surgeon who offers her the possibility of looking like a normal woman.
