Skip it. Despite Tom Hanks' reliable charm and the intriguing fish-out-of-water premise, this 2015 dramedy fails to find a coherent tone—it can't decide whether it's a satire of corporate desperation or a sincere redemption arc. The result is a muddled, forgettable watch that wastes its setup.

Plot

Alan Clay, a struggling American businessman, travels to Saudi Arabia to sell a new technology to the King, only to be challenged by endless Middle Eastern bureaucracy, a perpetually absent monarch, and a suspicious growth on his back.
