Watch this tonight if you're in the mood for a quietly devastating character study about connection and redemption. Director Lee Jae-kyoo crafts a tender, nuanced exploration of two damaged people finding solace in each other, anchored by strong performances—this is understated drama at its best, not the kind of film that needs critical consensus to matter.

Plot

Sent from Seoul to serve in a remote coastal village, a policewoman gets involved in the life of a mysterious teenage girl who is abused by both her father and her grandmother.
