5ive Girls

2007 · 1h 35m · Horror, Thriller

Skip it—this is a paint-by-numbers supernatural teen flick that pairs a tired reformatory setting with a generic demon-fighting premise that's been done better a hundred times over. Without the critical backing or buzz to suggest it does anything fresh with the formula, you're better off rewatching *The Craft* or *Ginger Snaps* instead.

Plot

Five wayward teenage girls are sent to a reformatory and discover they possess unique powers to battle the ancient demon, Legion, which holds thrall over the sinister institution.

Director: Warren P. Sonoda

Cast: Ron Perlman, Amy Lalonde, Terra Vnesa, Barbara Mamabolo, Krysta Carter
