If you're craving a claustrophobic survival thriller with genuine tension and a killer high-concept premise, '47 Meters Down' delivers the goods—the ticking clock of oxygen running out mixed with great whites circling overhead is legitimately nerve-wracking stuff. Skip it only if shark movies trigger your anxiety; otherwise, this is exactly the kind of B-movie thriller that earns its cult following.

Plot

Two sisters on Mexican vacation are trapped in a shark observation cage at the bottom of the ocean, with oxygen running low and great whites circling nearby, they have less than an hour of air left to figure out how to get to the surface.
